Hey guys, I've been toying with my Expedition ('99 Eddie Bauer) for the past few days trying to figure out this problem.
Leaving work a few days ago, I needed a jump-start from a co worker. When I got home, I put the battery charger on it and checked it the next morning. It did not help at all so I bought a new battery. Within two days, the new battery was completely drained.
I disconnected the battery connectors and was able to fully charge the new battery, so I figured it was a bad alternator. This morning I took the alternator (less than 6 months old) to AutoZone and they told me that there was no problem with it.
Has anyone had this problem with their Expedition? Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.
