I'll try to make this short but sweet. The wife and I are divorcing and she refuses any of my help to repair her truck even though I've been racing and repairing things all of our marriage. Now, recently her truck broke down and she took it to the new boyfriend to repair. He replaced the alternator. It died on her way home.

Now of course she wants me to fix it because the boyfriend is not allowed in my driveway.

So, I'm looking it over and its obvious he didn't remove the battery when he replaced the alternator and blew the fusible links at the battery. Does anyone know what AMP fuses were used there? He just taped up the burned wires and said he didn't do anything there.

I'm going to put in a fusible link (2?) and see if we can get her back in business. I'm just curious abut the fuses I will be needing to use.

It's a 130amp alternator.

Any help is appreciated.

The fuseable links are 175 amp units. They should be able to be picked up at most auto parts stores.
