Best thermostat brand & temps

What kind of thermostats are you running?
What brand and temp works best for the 5.4?

A 190 or 210deg?? I have a 170 in mine but now it being winter it may be to low....

Specific brand is your call IMHO as there are lots of manufacturers out there.
I used a Duralast 15119 from AutoZone; rated @ 195*.
Thing to check when changing is whether or not you get a new o-ring in the box as when I did mine it only came w/ the rubber seal around the flange and looked as if it would leak vice the factory o-ring.

Last thing is proper torque of the bolts.

Might as well not run a thermostat if its that low..

Stock lightning stat for me...what ever that is.

I usually stay with the stock temp stat unless there's some major mods done.

I use 160 in all my vehicles, but with the failsafe option.. they are a bit expensive but just incase of a over heat, they are mans best friend
