Strangest thing! I didn't believe my daughter until I'd driven our 2008 expedition enough to experience myself. The left blinker doesn't work at night and when it rains! No kidding! Ever heard of such a thing?

The blinker is saying that he does not work night shifts or when it rains. Welcome to the forum.

It's probably a bad earth, at night (and in rain, when the windscreen wipers are turned on, so is the headlight) you have the headlights turned on, so there is extra current flowing and that probably causes the issue. I would be checking the earth connections at the front around the headlight. Turn on the indicators, if they work perfectly, then turn on the headlight and see if that causes them to misbehave, this will confirm that it's a bad earth and is due to the current drawn by the headlight.
