Just had the climate control blower motor replaced fan settings 1-3 didn't work before the motor was changed and don't work now that the motor is changed. Only high works setting 4. I kinda doubt the motor was even changed and if it was changed they didn't bother checking to see if it worked or not.
Yep, everything you just stated is what happened with mine. Even the fan staying on HI (4). I just ride it high until it goes out. Time to roll it off a cliff.

Same thing just happened to me. Please update on your success speaking with the national customer service.
As a side note, the replacement of the resistor and pigtail did not fix the issue and they wanted to take apart the dash to replace wiring that 'may have been burnt'. All this crap should be related to the motor failure, but I said forget it. Anyone else have the recall performed and not had the issue resolved? Thanks.
I am in the same position. The recall was done before I bought the vehicle a 2017 XL have owned for about two months. Blower motor would only work on high replaced the resistor worked for two days. I replaced the resistor, blower motor, and pig tail with OEM parts. Worked for a day, now again only works on high. What is causing the resistor to fail? Any other trouble shooting tips ? Thanks

Did you use Motorcraft parts, or aftermarket?

Yes, all Ford parts from dealer, for those who have done the pigtail did you notice any difference in wire gauge between the pig tail and OEM harness? Also spoke with Ford the recall was done 18 months ago but they said not covered.
