bogging down while accelerating

has anyone had a problem with their engine bogging down while gradually accelerating. my expedition idles fine but while i slowly or gradually accelerate it seems to bog down and jerk a little bit, but if i stomp on the gas it reacts fine and gets up and moves. any help would be greatly appreciated.

A failing throttle position sensor can do that. Are you getting any codes?

Other things that can cause a problem, dirty mass air sensor, bad cops.

No not throwing any codes and check engine light has never came on. Just started out of the blue one day

Can also be a bad EGR.
Just changed the EGR in my '98. The idle was always smooth but it kinda felt "boggy" in the mid range. After changing the EGR my idle got even better and the bog went away.
Also, was not throwing a CEL, but when I ran a test scan it failed.
