I've done almost all of my own service and repair up until this Expy, so I'm familiar with what the oil looks like going in. I definitely should have left with that sample, though.
It's warranteed until 100k Bumper-bumper, so if I loose a diff between now and then even without a fluid change, it's on them. My only concern is being stuck in the mountains somewhere as I have a family member with mobility issues and delicate health. Lucky diffs are pretty solid and generally will start complaining before they explode.
