A local used car lot placed a marketplace ad for new take off 255/70-18 tires from 2020 Jeep. Started at $300 but dropped as days went by. When it reached $150 I messaged about them. Guy was off until Today. This morning before I leave I get a notice from marketplace the item has been lowered to $100. I get there and find a set of 5 Bridgestone Dueler H/T with maybe a couple thousand miles on them for $100!!!
Not each, total!
Who has the best deal on tpms sensors? I’m going to get this damn warning shut off. Does the 2008 system also monitor the spare or only 4 wheels?

I think it monitors the spare, if equipped. My 2003 does, hard to believe they'd remove that.

Great deal for sure. I forget where online I was looking at sensors but they were about 150 for the set of 4. I have 1 still good out of my batch. W the deal on the tires you could pay dealer prices prices tpms and still be ahead. Nice find!

my 08 currently has its original wheels and apparently it’s original tires including the spare. The tpms warning has been on since I bought it. I was glad to see almost new looking tires on it already, but when it started shaking on the interstate, I discovered chunks of rubber starting to come out and a DOT date code of 07. Previous owner had aftermarket rims so I guess these have been stored all this time.

Likely, they are known to die after all these years. Previous owner of mine had it checked out and they were supposedly dead when he had these tires mounted. He declined the shops cost to replace, don't blame him as it was probably awful since they knew they had him on the spot.

Your spare is likely an ugly steel wheel that doesn’t match the other 4. Probably not even the same diameter wheel- my spare is a 17” while my other 4 are 18”.

I suspected the spare might not be an 18. I tried to look at the spare before I went to buy these but I couldn’t read the size. Though I only just now remembered that the spare size is also on the drivers door jam sticker.

wow that's a killer deal. I got the same tires brand new on a sale at tire rack, my tires are slightly wider but roughly the same size. It was 500$ plus tax for the four tires, and about 75$ for installation with balancing. and here I thought I got an amazing deal haha.

This place had another set of these tires but still on the 2020 Jeep Wrangler 5 lug rims. I checked and found they are the same 5x5 bolt pattern as my dad’s 95 GMC Sierra. His truck needs tires bad so I bought them $150 for set of 5.

Of course I didn’t think about hub size. The Jeep rims won’t fit onto the GMC rotors. Anyone else need a set of 255/70R18 Bridgestone Dueler H/T ?
DOT date 2019. Dealership take offs.
