I have a 2003 Navigator and it blew a heater hose and while dealing with that I noticed something on the other side (left side) of the motor near the headers. one hose is still there but burned through and another small nipple-like hose connection which is missing the hose. If anyone can help me identify what these hoses are I can get her back on the road. I put a picture on here and the hose in question is just above the oil dipstick and the other nipple connection is above and to the right of the oil dipstick. Thanks for any help.

Those are your EGR differential pressure sensor feedback hoses. They plug into the bottom of the DPFE sensor right there on the side of the throttlebody in your picture. Be sure to replace them with actual high heat DPFE hoses, NOT fuel line. They sell them at any AutoZone store or you can find them online.

If those hoses blew off, there’s a chance your cat(s) are smoked. Take it to a good exhaust shop, and they can perform a back-pressure test to ensure / verify good flow through your cats. If they’re clogged, you can blow those lines. News cat(s) are the solution.
