I've been on a quest to find replacement OEM headlights for my 2003 EB and finally found some NOS OEM assemblies on eBay from two different sellers.
The left side came in perfectly and was packaged very carefully. The right hand side... not so much. The packing box was barely big enough and contained minimal bubblewrap. This metal pin (and the plastic around it) was sheared off completely.
Has anyone had a similar break and had any luck fixing it? Thinking super glue or plastic JB Weld - just not sure if there is enough material for it to take.
Does this pin do much for actually holding the headlight in place? I'm hoping it's more for alignment and the two tabs at the top of the assembly will hold it in place.
I'd return the broken one, but new unused OEM headlights are not easy to find and I'm excited for my truck to finally not look like it has glaucoma .
Thanks
Rob
