I know the motors changed and stuff but i was wondering if you can tune them and i know they have the e4od tranny right....
Can i Put an EDGE CS on a 97 4.6

i looked on edge and it shows first year is the 99... most likely the problem is the computer. alot of the earlier computers where non reprogramable

They start at 97 for the F150 though.... must be a different computer?

most likely... call edge and ask why it wouldnt work they should have an intelligent tech dept that can explain why...does anybody make a programmer for the 97 expy... if they do then it must be programable
I think the only thing it can't do is pre 99 you could not adjust the speedo since the speedo is mechanical on the 97-98... I would call edge they won't steer you wrong

I had tried a Super Chips after my mods, but didn't work @ all. I think the new flash programming centers, if still around, are the way to go for our older models.
