I am working on a friends 2015 Expedition and I need o know if the 2015 top storage tray with the speaker comes out of the truck. If it does, that would be ideal. I know that it moves but I can not figure out how to get it out. Is it just held in with clips or are there some screws holding it in as well. I know the speaker cover is held in with clips as I have found a video online on how to replace the speaker but I can not find a video of the center upper storage tray removal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, is there a constant hot wire and a ground that I can tie into in there?

Hi go to e-bay and use this part number FL1Z-7804320-BB I came across two listings with photos of the dash. One was complete dash and the other was missing stuff. It did show the back side of the dash so not sure if it will help you decide on what needs to be done. Maybe radio section might need to be removed.
