Carbon fiber hood wrap

anyone done it?

My hood is faded, paint is wack. should i carbon fiber hood wrap it? it's 100 bucks for the wrap. painting it nice will be 300 bucks.

i'm on a strict budget.

i even thought about a cheap maaco paint job for the whole car.....

what are your thoughts?

Plastidip it. I'm thinking of doing my whole truck with it.

Ended hip getting meguiars polish number 7 and it makes my faded hood shine like new again. Duragloss 105 does the same thing, wow this stuff is great. No need to repaint or wrap anymore.

Make sure and put a good coat of wax on it (not the crappy spray on stuff) or it will fade again.

You mean after I put the polish on? Then put on the wax?

Yes, the wax will protect the freshly polished paint.
