changing wheel size

i have a 2007 expedition limited with the 20" chrome wheels. they are really plastic which is b.s. i was thinking of putting 22" 2008 hd f150 wheels on it, any ideas what i have to do to the truck to do this, tractrion control, speedometer, odemeter, whatever else?? thanks

speedometer/odometer may not be affected..not sure...i'm running 24's and i know mine was affected so i had a programmer to change the rev limiter, speedomete, odometer, shift points...so that would be the best bet if you like...again, not sure if you need to on 22's

thank you, i heard a lot of people have problems with after-market wheels, lots of shaking, that's why i was thinking of staying with a ford product. your truck looks great, how does it drive and handle on the 24" wheels?

handles great!!! very smooth...handling improved...the shaking is if you go with cheap rims...and if they're out of balance...i went through Firestone for lifetime alignment/balance...nationwide service...so they get balanced ever rotation...no problems...i'm installing anti-sway bar kit and that will increase handling on curves...

As long as your overall diameter has not changed your speedo etc will be fine. You will just have to run lower profile tires.

thanks for the info, greatly appreciated. seems it may be less expensive to have the 22" for summer and swith back to the stock wheels for the winter. bhsoulja, i have to save my money for a new bike!! it seems your truck is fully loaded!!

EB...just missing the sunroof...i put in aftermarket HU so i have NAV...its ok...
