OK, this may look ghetto. I consume a few to several diet sodas on road trips. Maybe grab a quick taco and needed a solution for trash. I sort of prefer a clean, non-trash riddled truck.

I usually have a soft side cooler in passenger seat too. Perfect access from driver's seat.

So just wanted to share. :hidesbehindsofa:

Not letting me post pictures. Just getting red X

So the story is a walmart plastic bag with a pen attached to the handle and pen tucked in the rear facing pocket.

Don't know who your photo host is, but I have good luck with IMGUR.

Thanks. Normally I can just copy and paste out of google photos. IMGUR allowed one to add, but not the other. Must be an ISP issue.

The hosted link feature doesn't work for me either. Use "upload a file" at the bottom of the response window instead.

My trash solution. Like yourself, I’m on the road quite a bit and can accumulate some trash during the week. These Get Go convenience/gas store bags work great for me. Unlike the Walmart bags, they don’t come standard with holes in the bag that leak. By the time it’s ready to change, I have 2-3 on backup. (I always ask for a bag even if it’s one item!)

Went on a two week vacation trip in the Expy just recently and had a good stash on hand. It was great for just me and the wife. If it was nasty, we just tossed the whole bag. If not, we took out the larger items while fueling and moved on. We drive from SE Illinois to Key West and back, with side jaunts all along the way. (Unrelated, but I got 20-21 mpg on highway in this beast!)

If its something you regularly use and want a cleaner application just bend a coat hanger or similar to make a frame that will allow to stretch whatever shopping bag you see fit over it and get it to fit inside of the center console. A couple of the small 3m command hooks for support and you have a removable trashcan. Friend of mine does this w his F250 work truck, has worked great for a decade. When he doesn't need it and wants to use the full console area for storage it takes 3 seconds to remove.

I'm still in the camp of when I stop anywhere, all trash comes out with me right then and there and I generally never need a bag to hold things that way, with 14 cup holders for empties or whatever these have there's never a shortage.

I have my wife hold the Kroger or SuperLo plastic bag. She creates the trash in our family
