That's the sort of sound that comes from the front somewhere when I have it in D or R, but not in P or N. I've read so many possibilities that I'm sort of lost on what to check out. Vacuum hose this . . . solenoid that . . .

Anything to look for in layman's terms that doesn't require a degree in gibberish?

I have a different squawky-squawky-chonk-chonk sound that I think is something driven by the serpentine belt, like the bearing in something going bad.

I'm considering starting a new utube channel to use just for the X stuff, maybe can post some videos with sound for your perusal.

TIA!

LOL!!!! Sounds like the korean "Gangnum Style" dance thingy :)

Since it appears that it only occurs in D or R, and not P or N, maybe it has to do with something involving the drive line...

There is a little aluminum cap on the end of the drive spline that keeps the large hex nut in place. Remove your center cap and look to see if you still have those. You have custom rims so you might not. If you do, remove them and drive a short distance to see if things change. I put some tin foil behind mine and that solved the problem. Good luck!
