Hi. Might be stupid but I got a 2005 Expedition XLT and was wandering if the clearance between the tire and body should be the same on the front and the rear of the car.?

When i bought my Exp it had an aftermarket wheels and tires and everything looked awesome. Nice big tires with a lifted body. After a while a saw the chrome started to chip and I bought a new set of tires and wheels. Never noticed anything different but ever since i started working 3rd shift and driving at night people are getting out of my way and blink the high beams on me.

That got me thinking and now that i looked at it my rear sits 2" lower than the front.

Is it possible that someone stole my spacers?

I'm thinking about getting a 2" spacers but these ones don't come with longer bolts so i don't know if they will work.

I just replaced the shocks absorbers cause i thought they were shut. LOL

Any input greatly appreciated.
Thanks Rob.

It looks like you are fairly level, but it could be an inch or so different. That shouldn't be the reason people are flashing high beams at you. I bet your headlights need an adjustment. They are probably pointed to high, so just park on level ground about 10 feet from a completely flat wall and you can see where your beams are focused. There will be adjustment screws on your headlight assembly, you can either tighten the bottom to pull the beam down or you can loosen the top, or any combination of the two.

take a pic of the side of your truck on level ground. you truck is gonna squat more in the rear when your parked on an incline hence lifting the front anyway.
