I've had a check engine light for a good 6 months or more that came and went throughout that time. Normally it would stay in for a while. This code was P0131 for Bank 1 Sensor 1 Low Voltage. I finally replaced that O2 sensor about a little over a week ago and cleared the codes. Worth noting that this was the only code that came up during this time. The vehicle monitors all completed after clearing the codes and everything seemed to be working fine.

Today I'm now getting P0151 for Bank 2 Sensor 1 Low Voltage. Again this is the only code I'm seeing.

Is this just what I get for not replacing the sensors in pairs like a lot of people recommend or should I be looking into another possible issue before buying the bank 2 sensor?

Appreciate any insight, thank you.

My mechanic will do both on one side if one’s bad, before and after cat. That was my 2nd gen. Get OEM cause there shorter…others were longer tall on the outside,on my passenger side it was touching if not to close to firewall on 2nd gen…I compared it to old one. Think they were Bosch…..oem was much shorter….anyway change the other see what happens unless your paying to do then yes…money and that orange light is harsh….i hated that freaking light, yea me to 6 months or more.i did on lift with mechanic friend I was lucky at the time…was able to see go under truck. He’s retired now….new guy sucs
