Around 50% of the time I start my vehicle (2023 Timberline 501A) the My View and Configurable Gauges return to default settings. This used to happen on the Configurable Gauges but it seemed like a fix came out early last year and everything worked as it was supposed to. A month or two ago is when both started loosing memory half the time. Is anyone else having these issues?

P.S. My Expedition is just over. 2 years old, and starts fine so it should not be a bad battery, but it is a Ford (Quality is Job #1).

The only thing I have had that never keeps its memory is setting the oil temp for one of the right gauges.

I had to have the battery replaced a couple of weeks ago on an 18 month old 2023. It never went dead but i was getting messages on my app that it was low. My dealer tested it and agreed to was low and replaced it under warranty.

Some things had to be reset from the battery being disconnected, but not before that.

I have had my configurable gauges reset and attributed it to software updates. It is definitely amateur hour over at Ford software.

There a lot of settings that seem to randomly reset. My View seems to reset with every update and some times because I took a phone call. Interior lights have a mind of their own, memory seats randomly seem to select a new position, towing computer sometimes remembers the last trailer and other times likes to ask me every few miles if I want to select a new trailer even when nothing is hitched up. We like to say our Expy has personality... Just not one anyone enjoys.
