I am trying to install the factory OEM dual dvd headrests (Invision Revolution LT). When I bought the 14 Expedition it was removed. This supposedly was factory installed original to Exp. So I'm trying to install them back in. I have the headrests in, the control box and they are connected. Here is where I run into my problem. I have this plug, I assume it's the power plug. Seems like it's a plug n play for 12V, however after removing the back of the center console there is no where to plug it into. I looked under the passenger seat (pic below) and there is no connection there either. I looked in the fuse panel and no female adapter for this. Has anyone seem this plug and where does it go? I am starting to think the dealership removed a part or something is missing. Anyone that can help will be much appreciated.

THIS PLUG GOES WHERE?

I actually installed the factory headrest DVD players in my 2014 Expedition a couple of weeks ago. That box, with the plug in question, does not look familiar. Here is the "factory" box from my install (pictured).

Where/how did you connect the power to? It looks like your control box is different than the one they gave me from the dealership.

The power is coming from the little white plug. It's a relatively small wire that runs from the box, under the passenger seat, and into a bundle of wires near the front passenger floor access panel (see picture). At first I thought maybe the box you have went to the overhead DVD screen, rather than the headrests screens, but you state you were able to connect the A/V cables to the box, which is perplexing. Did your purchase from the dealer come as a complete kit, with the headrests, box, and wiring harnesses, or did you only purchase the box itself?

Here is pic of my control box. The dealer gave me what they had from the uninstall and that was all I received. I'm not sure how they wired it to the Expedition. I've spent two days trying to find the plug it goes into.

That plug looks like it's only about 3 inches long, so perhaps the mounting location is different from mine, which was in the center console. If Bedrck47 is watching this post, he may be able to provide a wiring diagram as perhaps there was more than one setup. From all the posts I've read, he's the expert on wiring diagrams and schematics. One of the plugs you have actually looks like it might go to the back of the radio / head unit. Do you have the factory radio? If so, can you upload a picture of the radio you have?

They gave me the control box, the a/v cables to the headrests, and both dvd headrests. Yes, I have the factory radio.

I think there are two possibilities here; either they gave you the wrong control box, or there are two different controls boxes, in which case perhaps there are two different mounting locations. I'm just not sure where that short plug could go.

That said, there is a "rear entertainment" plug on the back of the radio you have. The installation instructions that I had did not require I use it, and I assumed it was for an overhead system, rather than a headrest system. It may be something your control box uses though. Here is a picture for reference. It's the "square" plug furthest to the left in the picture. Either way, please keep me posted on what you find out.

The plug I have needs a female end. In the picture of the back of the radio you just showed looks like it needs a male. I'm stumped on what to do at this point. I may just try splicing the 12V in the console or getting a 12V power accessory kit. If I can find the other end that would be ideal. Seems strange that I can not locate the other end since it seems like it was a relatively easy uninstall. I'm going to call the Ford dealership to see if they remember what they did. I hope maybe they can. If not, I'm back to figuring it out. Thank you for your help Clemson82. I hope someone on here knows what this plug is.

Good luck, and please keep us posted. Here is a copy of the installation instructions I used, which shows the components you should have. It says 2009-2012, but it worked for my 2014.
