Hi! New to this forum. I saw a thread about cross bars but it didn’t answer this issue I’m having - if there’s another thread to refer to I’m happy to be referred to old answers/solutions.

I have a 2005, roof rack rails are stock I believe, but no cross bars. I found a pair on eBay, but they don’t seem to fit into the rails. I see 3 possibilities:
1. This set is actually the wrong part (maybe for a different year?)
2. The cross bars are designed to attach in a different way, not on these rails?
3. I’m an idiot and there is an obvious way to install this that I haven’t figured out?

i can’t find any installation info online. Haven’t received a shop manual in the mail yet. Any thoughts?
