cross traffic sensor

Hello - My 2017 Ford Expedition that I just bought, is now throwing up a cross traffic warning light and then a wrench (Both yellow) - when this happens it is almost like the transmission is trying to slow the car and the RPMs go up but the car doesn't want to give any power - I make it home and shut it off and then it won't start for at least an hour - then it starts and I drive for 10-15 minutes and here we go again .. cross traffic wrench power lessens and go home shut it off and it won't start for an hour ... watch rinse repeat -- any ideas how I can fix this or just disconnect that cross traffic thing ? Thanks !
