Has anyone built a sub enclosure for either the rear passenger side area where the pocket is, or one for under the 2nd row seat? Its a 1997 XLT expedition...

I had a pair of 12's ripped off in a custom box, and now I had my single 12" bazooka ripped off out of it. I HATE not having any bottom end, so I want to either build a box in the side or one for under the seat and bolt it through the floor. Has anyone built a custom box and have pics of it? I know you can 'squeeze' in a single 10" in the back, and would like either a pair of 10's or single 12 under the seat... I want to see what you guys have done? Thank you!

You wont get a 12 under seat. and a 10 will be pretty tight.
You can get alot of bass out of a good 10 in that area in teh back passenger side behind the panel.

There is actaully more room than you think. If your not afraid of fiberglass go nuts. I did a 10" Elemental Designs in a ports box in that panel that hammered for a buddy of mine. I'll try and find some pics.

I'd like to see some pics of a box in the rear "pocket" area...

I cant seem to find any of the pictures i have on the one I did, but to give you some idea this is the MTX thunderform that goes in the same spot.

It does a pretty good job at using the space available behind the panel but there is much more to be had if you do it yourself. You can gain a little over 1.5 cubic feet of airspace if you DIY it and open the pocket that holds the jack and transfer it to the other side.
