You see those pretty Ac lights / temp lights well they haven’t worked in months … decided they wanted to come on for a maybe 1 min then again disappeared. 1f602.png Blake and I got way too excited then got sad again. It’s either max heat or max ac up in here .. sometimes the back ac doesn’t want to work , sometimes it decides to go in and out when it works. It’s a blast to have to guess what you will get into daily. 2021 Expedition Dash.jpg

No! It is Factory Stock. It belongs to my nephew and his wife. I copied and pasted her comment as it was sent to me. I have the same 2021 Expedition like they do, but I don't have this issue they are having.

Sorry, I just got back from lunch and saw your reply. YES! They have owned it from NEW! It currently has 84,000 miles and they estimate that it started around 50,000 miles with this elec problem.

Perhaps they should have the vehicle scanned for any stored HVAC or other trouble codes and have it repaired?

No offence, but seeing how dirty that whole thing is, what are the chances that someone spilled a Big Gulp in there at some point? ;)

On a more serious note, you can purchase the shop manual online, and take that whole section off to check the connectors are seated correctly. The top dash cubby comes off first. Then the front panel.

You'll likely lose some of the trim clips down the insides of the dash though, so make sure you get a few from the dealership first. They're like 10c each - grab a whole bunch.

Thats what I suggested to him also. I have a Blue Driver code reader but I'm about 70 miles away and I won't see them until Thanksgiving. I was just hoping maybe someone else might have had a similar problem
