day isnt starting well

so i finally ordered the extended lug nuts/wheel locks...truck on lift...center cap off...ok...get the wheel lock key to take rims off...i always keep it in my glove compartment...what? not here? ok...the only other place it could be is in the armrest...open armrest...WHAT???? NOT HERE???? so i completely take EVERYTHING out the truck...WTF!?!?!?!!!! no where to be found...ok...think...think...THINK...THINK!!! the last time it was used was at firestone with the lifetime balance/alignment...done at every oil change when i do it or not...wait...that was days before....CHRISTMAS...i already know the answer to this one..."sorry sir, we've checked everywhere in case some saved it and we dont have it"...get there and the searched...i can literally see them opening things in the back...pull ppl of work looking for the lock key...10 mins later......"sorry sir, we've checked everywhere in case some saved it and we dont have it"...are you sure its not in truck? positive cuz thats the only place i keep it...

NWTFDID??? well we did move last year...no dumb dumb...it was used after you moved...check garage anyways JUST in case i did something foolish like take it out...all vehicle needs are centrally located...NOPE...last idea i can think off is calling Giovanna and see if they can send another key in an attempt that all their locks are the same since i got my rims via direct shipment...

any other thoughts or ideas to get locks off??? i have new set that i can use so replacement isnt an issue...just getting them off

3/4" drive deepwell gator socket $15-20 depending on where you get it...DO NOT USE AN IMPACT WITH THIS, but it will work.

simple pound a smaller impact socket on the stud with the lock - they come right off - I don't even bother after loosing mine and learning how easy the locks are to remove - really - a 3 lb hammer and a impact socket all your wheel locks are defeated - try it

If the Gator socket or BFH and impact socket don't end up working (although one will) It's time to weld a sacrificial socket or large nut to the wheel lock. It'll just need 3 or 4 spot welds, being mindful of excessive heat soak.
