just curious if anyone knows what the value of a '99 EB Expy w/ 171K is. the exterior & interior is in great condition, mechanically i would say it's in good condition (having some issues addressed now). curious to see whether i want to keep it & get a 2nd more gas efficient vehicle & use the Expy for snowy days & hauling or just dump it now while it's still got some value. family is downsizing, so the need to the family bus it not needed as much.

We just picked up my mom's 2000 with the 4.6L for around 1600 bucks with 180k on the clock. It's a buyer's market for these vehicles. If you do not HAVE to get rid of it, I would hang onto it. They will run for a long time. Everyone I know with a 1st gen is over 200k on the original motor and trans.

Local markets can be the deciding factor on value. But I would guess $2,000-$4,000.
Would cost double or more to replace it...

i would say 4-5k depending on overall condition but it is almost winter time so that is when they sell for more a few more months the values will tank again

After 15 model years the value is all about condition. What is it worth to you? Is it a financial drain? Liability ins coverage only right? Taxes? Like you said it can be used on snow days and hauling so you won't take that chance of messing up your good car.
