So I have a 2015 expedition. Anyone else notice the delay when you roll into a stop then start to accelerate and there is a big delay from when you press the pedal to when the trans decides what gear to be in to take off. It annoys the hell out of me. Is it a conmon deal. And can it be corrected by maybe installing a tuner.
Thanks

I have a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4, purchased new, now with 20,*** miles. I have never experienced a delay as you describe. The transmission shifts very smoothly and does not hunt for gears.

If the vehicle is still covered under the power train warranty, you may want to have your dealer diagnose it.

Traction control

Its preventing slippage and burnout when stepping on it from a stop, or flooring it hard in motion

Turn it off in a dry flat safe place with perfect pavement, unless it still does the same thing therein lies your problem. Except it's a feature not a problem, keeps you safe. And keeps you from smoking trashing and replacing all tires every 6-10k like corvette camaro porsche n bimmer crowds
