Door speaker rattle

Has anyone noticed and been able to fix the terrible rattle from the door speakers? It drives me crazy and its mainly coming from the drivers door. I can push in on the door panel right above the speaker grill and it doesn't rattle.

Has anyone noticed and been able to fix the terrible rattle from the door speakers? It drives me crazy and its mainly coming from the drivers door. I can push in on the door panel right above the speaker grill and it doesn't rattle.

I vaguely remember a post on this forum with the same complaint - but I think it was a 4th generation model.

The solution was to add some foam padding under the door panel (or radio grille?) which stopped the vibration and rattle.

Perhaps return it to the dealer for diagnosis and repair under the warranty? There MAY be a Ford TSB on the issue?
