That's what I use for family travel on long trips...another set of 12s in a vented box for short family trips when we stay a few days in new york...dc...or go to mountains in west va or va...then my everyday 18" pounder when its just me or just me and wife with or w/o my son and we don't have much luggage...with my 18" i Can still fit a lot of stuff it depends on if I want to chance getting the sub getting damaged from luggage possibly sliding into it

The travel setup allows me to keep bass and have 3rd row up and still put stuff on the box without damaging the subs
