Drive Mode Dial Knob Help

Hey all, my kid leaned on the ddrive mode dial and the panel pushed into the center console. Took the console out to try to push it back and it woudnt move. Anyone know how to fix this? Also havent been able to find the part replacement

able to lcoate the part replacement for the knob and panelView attachment 83745View attachment 83746




You said you can’t find the part replacement. Did you try a Ford dealer part’s department, with you VIN?

No since its sunday they are closed. Looked on some websites not much luck other than ebay, but removing the control doesnt seem to be complicated i just couldnt manage to get it out, the plastic is pretty fragile.

It won’t help you - but the drive model selector on my 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 (now gone) was on the dash. Easy to see and use, and hard to damage

I have wondered why manufacturer’s put critical switches such as your mode selector switch on the center console, where it is subject to easy damage and spills from liquids?

Try looking for a replacement for your console part on Rock Auto. I've purchased a lot of parts from them for our 2nd Gen Expy and our 4th Gen. Exact matches, good prices.
