Drivetrain shaking?

Hey all. I just got a 99 XLT 5.4L A4WD.

I've noticed that when I accelerate from about 1K to 2K RPMS the drivetrain shakes. Seems to happen only when under load. If I let off the gas it's fine. If I'm above 2K RPMs it's fine.

Do you guys know what's up?

same problem with my 2000 5.4 4wd.
i think i have traced it to 2 possible causes.
1) i'm getting a missfire in cylinder 8 code.
2) could also be the egr valve.

i'm changing both this weekend. i'll let you know.
are you getting a check engine light yet?
it took mine a couple months before it came on. all the while i was trobleshooting.
also ,depending on milage, try changing the tranny filter and fluid. i've read a coule posts that this was a fix.
