Hi, new here. Picked up a 08 expedition limited and wanting to change all fluids and filter.... I'm stuck on the transmission pan, how the heck do you access the bolts above the exhuast on the rear to drop the pan? It's like 5 bolts. Anyone have ideas?

I just did mine a few weeks ago and dont remember encountering anything too crazy. I might have used a universal joint and an extension for those few.

I used a wobble extension and a short socket, save yourself trouble and buy a new dipstick kit. Mine broke after getting the pan back on so replace it. Save yourself some aggravation.

+1 on buying that dipstick! I broke mine after finishing the job when I scorched myself on the cat trying to check the fluid level. Dropped the dipstick, it hit the driveway and snapped in half. I had been so proud of myself up until that point at not breaking it. But at least it didn't snap off and drop into the pan!
