depends on how they are wired...i like mono channel amp...run the subs parallel...my 4ohm cvr 12's are wired 2 ohm...400 watts rms for each sub...my amp can hande 4 ohm stable down to 0.5 ohm stable...so i have them wired at 2 ohms...giving them all 400 rms each that they need...

my amp is a 1200 rms mono-channel amp...i used rockford fosgate wiring configuration to do the sub setup

it helps a lot! what subs do you want to run? and with 3rd row seat in or out? cause if you want it in, you cant get more than a 15" bottom box and 11" top of the box. or just get this.

good subs for it too.
dual 4 ohm http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17886_Crunch-GPV12D4.html
dual 2 ohm http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17884_Crunch-GPV12D2.html
then you can have it with the 3rd out too.

I agree, 12volt is the best. I used it a ton when I did my install a couple years ago.
