On my 98 expedition 4.6 my check enginge light came on. I checked it out it said cylinder 8 is mis firing. Every since i did a tune up and change my wires and plugs my truck never been the same. 2 month ago cylinder 5 was
mis-firing. I change couple things and it turned out to be the wire. I was able to change it my self since 5 was up front. Now 8 is in the back how hard is it to get to, or should i just take it to the shop.

I changed the wires and plug today not bad at all. The hard part was taking out the spark. Plug when it became loose.

Changing the plugs/COIPs

It's not a bad job if you have done shadetree mechanic stuff before, but if you are a newby I would not recommend it. You will find it much easier with a good selection of extensions and a Universal joint or two. Oh yeah, make sure your patience is high when you decide to do it, because you will need some.
