Engine toast?

Hello all, I was working the other night and I left my expedition in the sleet and snow at work (9 Hours) through the evening and into the night. (About 15 or so degrees) When I got off I went out and started it up and had no problems getting it started. I let it sit for a couple of seconds and put my foot on the accelerator for about a minute @ 2500 RPM in park trying to warm it up.

Well suddenly my oil pressure dropped below the gauge it ran for about 2 more seconds after I took my foot off the gas and died. My guess is the engine froze up/seized ? The oil is about 2500 miles old and is thicker ( I live down south) , I have tried to get jumps / replace battery . When I try to start it I hear it click and make a small grunt for about half a second and nothing after.

What happened????

My guess is the oil got too thick and wasnt flowing into the engine and caused it to seize up

did you check to see if there was oil? it also could be the oil pump is clogged up. either to thick or just gunk thats in there. try to heat up the engine block with some sort of heater if you can get it into a garage and see if that helps any.
