Ever so slight shudder at idle and when applying break...?

OK so I really think I might have something going on with this whole "shudder" deal. Yesterday I was parked at Walgreens (actually parked, not just my foot on the break) and the whole truck had the little shudder. If I'd had a glass of water sitting on my dash it would have been vibrating a bit...now I know I haven't driven a big truck in a few years, but I don't remember them doing this...when my sebring was in park it just sat there smooth as can be...what gives? Should I take it in and have someone take a look?

I need to change out my plugs. They're at 86kish, so I'm pretty sure they aren't up to peak. Also, kind of hoping it will fix this, though I still think the IAC is somewhat to blame.

hey blackexpy, arent you under warranty i thought you just bought that thing, take it back and say hey this aint right fix it if they say its nothing ask around and find a good local garage and have them take a look, i dont wanna say dont try and learn and all im just sayin dont get burnt. i would hate to see a stealership take advantage of you and make you hate expy's after all. how many miles does it have? i just changed my plugs at 92k and they looked good(except the one i had to use a coat hanger to clean around because compressed air didnt fase it lol) but the plugs look good. i put the new ones in and my mpg went up about 1mpg in town i went from 10 to 11ish on just doing the plugs. so im not sayin research and learn im just sayin dont wait too long before takin it in, dont want them to say why didnt you say something when you first took it home etc. if you think your just worrying too much find someone with an expy like yours and take a ride

I did just get it, but it's a 2004 and I bought it at an auction through a friend of mine with a dealership so no warranty. Yeah you're probably right...I should take a ride in a simular expy and see how it feels. I'm probably just paranoid!

Is the shimmer constant when you're sitting in the seat? Or is it pretty smooth and about every second or two you feel a slight/light jerk in the seat?

Might want to think about fuel filter, if that doesn't work, seafoam, if that doesn't work, spray MAF cleaner on the sensor, if that doesn't work clean the throttle body, if that doesn't work, unhook the coils / injectors & shoot the electrical contacts with MAF cleaner, if that doesn't work , new plugs, if that doesn't work, new coils? if that doesn't work, get a Surburban? lol...

:rotflmao: The shimmer is fairly constant at idle, when the break is applied, when creeping forward or backwards in idle, and at very low (parking lot speeds). If i placed a glass of water on my center dash it would certainly be vibrating. We switched out the fuel pump and filter last week so thats def not it. I'm thinking about skipping ahead a few steps and replacing the plugs and maybe the coils (since they're down there anyway). If they are the original plugs and I'm at 86k miles its probably time anyway....

Tig they switched out the plugs last weekend during the tune up. My mechanic buddy took it for a drive yesterday and says I'm just being paranoid and overreacting to the natual vibration of the engine..so...I'm over it i guess lol.

+++EDIT+++

YOUR AVATAR MAKES ME DISTINCTLY UNCOMFORTABLE, BTW! LOL

bought a can of it today. We'll see. My buddy took it for a drive today and thinks maybe the combination of my 22 inch wheels and low profile tires (street tires) is just making me feel every little bump and grind and vibration. Either way I'm not too worried.
