It appears my unit has failed as many have described, with the fan speed stuck on high, fan speed indicator increases and decreases on the display but makes no changes...pushing the vent selector button seems to 'fool' it into slowing down some ( but may just be the difference in sound level from floor vent versus dash).... Pushing the off button does nothing..

I removed the blower module from the passenger side (under glove box) and found the number 7c3t-19e624-ab unfortunately, I have been unable to locate this exact replacement part online...any help???

Should I go to the dealer? I have a long distance trip in 3 days and am thinking the noise from the high speed all of the time will drive me insane..

Thanks

Thanks guys...on fordparts.com never could get the right number to show up, and I am looking for a new part, so ebay I saw isn't going to work...I did cross reference and found that part # 9L3Z-19E624B seems to be a (at least on Amazon) a replacement part for the original #7c3t-10e624-ab when I list my 2007 Expedition compatability check on the website.

I did just look up on pepboys.com the blower speed module for 2007 expedition and did see a module that looks like it and is #RU1266 so may try this

My issue is I am leaving on a 10+ trip to Deleware on Tuesday afternoon, and would really like this replaced before we leave to avoid the excessive noise for that long...so ordering online and receiving by Tuesday afternoon is tricky

Thanks for the replies!

Andy, you might want to start a new thread. This ones pushing 4 years old. As to your comment, you replaced control module, and it only lasted 1 day. That tells me you have a dead short somewhere, that's bypassing the fuse, and burning up the module. Was any repair work, either electrical, or mechanical done to this vehicle? My guess is theirs a group of wires that got fused together, and took out the resistor side of your blower motor. You or a mechanic is going to have to do a bit of digging. Sometimes you get lucky, and the burnt wire is easy to find, sometimes not so much. Good luck, let us know your progress.
