The console controls at the rear of the center console has controls for venting up and bottom. There is also a fan control. Question: how does the fan control work? Is there an auxiliary fan in the console? It does not control the fan on the dash..Maybe it controls a damper to give less or more flow. Any insights? THANKS20260105_174133.jpg

In my 99 EB, there's an auxiliary blower behind the left rear trim panel just ahead of the speaker that provides airflow to the vents above the second and third row seating. It's protected by fuse #7 in the interior fuse box which is labeled "Console Blower" even though that's not where it is.

My 97 doesnt have any vents for third row. The only heat/AC comes from center console. When I removed the center console I found the auxiliary blower in the bottom of the center console. It works fine. What started my effort was no heat. That is, the switch on the dash did not move the door in the heater/ac box. After checking the door and determining that I had heat to the heater/ac box, I thought the actuator was bad. I got a new actuator and tested it with the connector to the exisiting actuator. It would not move. So, I thought the dash switch was bad. After further research, there is 15 amp fuse for backup lights, AC compressor and the actuator. I checked backup lights and indeed they wer not working. Dah! Fuse bad.. Put in a new fuse and all works now.
