Ford Warrenty 100,000 miles ?

About to go pick up our new Expedition EL 4x4 limited.
Dealer is offering the extra warrenty for $1860.

Is it worht it?
any opinions on it?

Well what does it cover? but for me....i think that paying an extra 1800 bucks to have something covered under warranty is completely worth it

If it's an extension on the "normal" Ford warranty, I'd say go for it. A lot of times, one major repair alone is going to cost more than that.

I wouldn't think it's worth it, but that's because I bought my 03 new, it's at 95,000 miles and there's nothing that has gone wrong that would have been covered under warranty.. and I drive my expedition hard.

Definetely go for it! Its always better to be safe than sorry!! You probably wont even notice the extra $1860 on top of the sticker price of the vechicle anyway.

Well thanks for the comments.
We picked it up on Friday.
Ended up getting the Ford service aggreement for around $1100.
And the GAP for $189 instead of $600 they first said.

Our bank was offering us the same kind of insurance for $175 so they changed their mind on that $600s.

Ended up going with the dealer for the loan as they got us 4.9%
Truck ended up costing us $35K on the nose. After trade and rebates etc.

Think the deal was pretty good. Only gave us half a thank of gas though. thought that was a bit cheap.
