Frame mounted running boards?

I have 2008 EL and would like to find a set of running boards or nerf bars that mount to the frame rather than the inner running boards.
Anyone have such or know of an online source?

The bully hoop step, not sure how it would look though.

Frame-mounted will likely be listed as "rock sliders" rather than nerf bars or running boards. There are some generic ones available in different lengths from various fabrication shops but I haven't found anything specifically for our trucks. Expect to do (or hire someone to do) some welding to make it work.
