Front seat tilts back when leaning against

07 EL Limited power seats. The driver seat tilts back when you lean against it or pull forward to fast. It's like the front tilt motor is completely shot and has no resistance. Anybody no the fix for this? Do I replace the front tilt motor or the whole seat or a secret third option I don't know about?

you might want take out the motor and test it so you can see it that is your problem.. or have you also checked the fuse for the seat. are they heated or cooled. more info would be nice just respond to me if you need any further help.

So I can hear the motor run when I press the front tilt button. I think I figured out the issue, but i have no idea how to fix it. I think the rod for the front tilt has pulled out of the motor. It that fixable? Or do I have to redo the whole thing?

I'm not quite sure I've never had this problem before. but can probably check the wires and such under the seat and see if anything looks wonky. if it is could you send pictures so I can help identify the issue. you could try looking it up and look at official build prints of the components.
