UPDATE: FINALLY GONE.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE WITH AIR RIDE SUSPENSION.

_________________________________________________________________

PRICE REDUCTION: NOW $3700 CASH

2 months ago the check suspension light came on and the code was for open circuit drivers side rear..
We spent just under $200 getting the solenoid and harness replaced and the truck was great for weeks..

Now, it is throwing the exact code as before, only for the passenger side.. We just want to move on.
Its a strong running truck but I'm done with it.

KBB wholesale trade in value is $4125.. I'd like $3700 for it~

Time to downsize as we don't need a large truck anymore..

This Expedition is well sorted out having much work in the last 2 years to make it 100% reliable. It's ready for years more service.

Has power drivers seat, windows, locks, mirrors, tilt, cruise, AC(front and rear), 3rd row, AM/FM/Cass, keyless entry with factory alarm, full air ride suspension and tow package.
Tan cloth interior in good shape, no rips. Rear hatch and glass struts are good.

5.4 V8 has 133K and is running perfectly. (the 90K service was done at Ford and plugs were replaced at that time, no manifold issues, no leaks)
Transmission has been serviced per manual and shifts 100% like new.
Differentials also serviced per manual, 4WD works as it should, no issues with the drivetrain at all.
Has the tow package but has only towed once (I brought home a small vintage camper to restore in December)
Powerful and smooth truck, cruises rock solid on the highway, drive it anywhere without worry.

Within the last year:
-New OEM Continental tires ($600+)
-New front end and control arms
(including ball joints, tie rods, rear control arms etc, $1100+)
-New AC hoses and charge.. 42 degrees at idle now ($400+)
-New air control solenoid in rear ($150+)

Within the last 2 years:
-Air ride controller, lines, front solenoids. Over $1000 was spent to get it right
-Brakes on all 4 wheels including rotors up front

I've owned it for 11 months, owner prior to me had it for 8 years and it was dealer serviced per owners manual that entire time..tons of receipts.
I bought it to have a good tow vehicle for a camper, but we ended up getting a small 1600 pound camper that can be towed by a much smaller SUV or car.
The truck is great, we just don't need it like we thought we would.

Known Issues:
Odometer backlight sometimes flicks off and on
Minor rust at bottom of door edges

Here are a few pictures from before the snow started..
(Note the new OEM style blackwall tires were installed after these pictures were taken)

I'm looking for $5000 for this truck.. (and I'll be taking a loss at that)
I know you can buy one for less, but I also know this one has been gone through and needs none of the high dollar repairs that the lower cost ones usually need.
No manifold leaks, no plugs frozen in the heads, working air ride with recent overhaul, no front end work needed, no tranny issues..
This is a 'turn key' truck that will last a long time~

Truck is located in Southern New Hampshire.. less than 1 hour to Boston, 1.5 to Worcester MA.

I can be reached at [email protected]

Thanks,
Kev
