So I am in the process of replacing the fuel pump/sending unit assembly on my 2012 Expedition. (I've some this job before in my older 2009 expedition). When reinstalling the tank, I noticed that the three wire electrical pigtail that plugs into the fuel pressure transducer (I think that's what it is) will slide on, but for whatever reason I can't seem to get it to click so as to ensure it stays in place.
The connector does not appear to be broken. Is this a common thing? Should I replace both the pigtail with a new one as well as the transducer?
Experienced/and or educated opinions welcomed please.
