Well the ol' Expo has been pretty much sitting all winter...it is such a sweet truck I hate the thought of abusing it with NY winter roads, plus I have a beater Subaru to use... so she sits until the roads are dry.

So yesterday I start her up for a quick trip to town to stretch her legs...and the fuel gauge shows 0.. dead empty...actually says 0 miles left on the mileage tracker... ODD I think...I know I left some fuel in the tank... about 15 miles up the road...boom... everything comes back on, and I have 1/4 tank...I stop into the fuel station and throw another $20 (doesn't do much with this big a tank but...) and the gauge creeps up to 1/2.

All seems OK.. run some errands and after about an hour... boop...battery is dead. Got her jumped and home but just wondering if these could be connected or probably not...and if anyone has ever seen their gauge act like that.
