i read that if i keep my gas sucking 5.4 under 2000 rpm i should get better fuel mlg i just put a 285/70/17 on my truck and i seen a differce in my rpm its about 500 rpms lower in town will it help our am i fooling my self?? what can i do aboult the gas issue??? :troll: :troll: :troll:

You're fooling yourself.

A larger rotating mass (tires and wheels) will decrease your mileage and throw off your speedometer, which is also manifested in the changes in the tach that you mentioned.
