Safely you can do 6 street bikes or 9 dirt bikes, just make sure your tie down locations are good and do some blocking and bracing on the tires with 4x4's and 2x4's. Oh, and never compress the suspension completely when you tighten the ratchet straps, that is a good way to blow some fork seals.

thats why i like quads and 3 wheelers. just lay them on there ass and their good to go. haha
