Getting "Connected services required" but I already have it!

I have a 2023 Expy SPP. Sometimes when I try to use Alex to set a navigation point I get "this operation requires connected services". The problem is I ALREADY HAVE CONNECTED SERVICES.

It is intermittent. Sometimes it works, sometimes I get the message.

What could be causing this? It seems to happen even in areas where my connected cell phone has a decent signal.

I double checked on the ford web site. I have connected navigation paid up until next year.

The easiest thing you can try is disconnecting the negative battery cable from your 12v battery for 20 minutes to hard-reset the module network. If the GWM and/or the TCU is hung up in a funky state, this will get them back in gear.
