Well, my short lived time on this forum has been a wonderful experience but I am sad and happy to say that I am moving into the jeep off-roading world. I will be trading my Expy in on a Jeep Wrangler. You guys have been awesome and I appreciate your input. Keep building those radical expys...love it! I will reply to this thread in the next couple of days to show off my jeep and say farewell. The 6 years of expy ownership have been great, just looking to go even more extreme in my off-road endeavors!

yeah, that's probably the only, I guess, bad thing you could say about a jeep. Although...Barbie is pretty hot!

All in fun. No offence intended. ( Well I guess I meant to offend you a little bit, otherwise, I wouldn't have posted it :p)

Good luck with your next vehicle.

So much hostility...lol. Jealousy? Maybe? Anyway the jeep has an inline 6cylinder which are know for their longevity and easy workability. But that aside. I have a 350 with edelbrock package and a great transmission ready for when I get tired of the v6.

Jeep?....Jeep?...but, but, but...it's not a Ford. What fun could you have with something like that? Ford Bronco I could understand definately but Jeep? Oh well, please have fun and try and enjoy your non-Ford product :)

My expy is a 1997 and I got $5000 (value) straight trade on a 1992 Wrangler. Lifted with 35" tires. Wranglers hold their value longer than an expedition.

I get ya. I do like my expedition but like I said earlier I am getting more extreme with my off road interest and as much as I hate saying it but the 5500lb expy just wasn't cutting it, also my upgrade list was in the several thousands of dollars and it was much much cheaper to upgrade a jeep with a lot more options as well.

ur sellin ur expy too? damn. thats a good price you got for your 97. damn good price for a trade. i will probably buy a jeep someday too. i will keep the expy though. its paid for. there is a cherokee up the block with a sas and it looks good. so might do something like that someday. good luck with the wrangler

Have fun....My friend at work love his jeep and swears buy it even though he breaks something every time he goes out.....I guess the shorter wheel base and lighter wait could make your off roading a little faster

Okay fellas, as promised the picture. I have already had such a blast driving it around. It's like a big go-cart or dune buggy! My boys love it as well, you can see that there is another one through the windshield.
