How did you come to the conclusion the head gaskets went? Did it overheat?
Yes. I was at the car wash to just spray some dirt/mud off quick and when I got back in(5/7 minutes) the dummy light was saying low oil/high temp and my gauge was all the way hot. I shut it off for 15 minutes and let it cool down some then drove it home(only 1/4mile) then I waited until the next day and drove it up to temp, went about 3/4 of the way up the gauge then back down to normal. I had a guy put a sniffer on and as soon as we opened the fill cap you could hear it hiss and then the sniffer changed colors instantly.
