Hello everyone,

I'm delighted to join the forum as a proud owner of a silver 2011 Expedition Limited. I've always wanted to own a large American SUV and I've finally got one. I've had the car for 2 days and I'm loving it so far; the ride height, the refined engine, the comfort.

Aren't they all 5.4's? Or did they use different engines overseas? Anyway welcome. Nice SUV, it will grow on you.

I have no idea, that's why I asked. I see a mini van when picking my boys up from school. It's a Ford freestar 4.2L Is that a big 6cyl?

Yup, sure is. As far as I know Ford always used the 5.4 engine on all post 2004 Expeditions, up till 2014. But who knows maybe ones made for the European market or others had different options. Sure would be cool to get one with the big 6.2 from the pickup.
